Indigo Trigger Takes Farm Journal Live on Naviga

Naviga Ad Platform Replaces Legacy Lead-to-Cash Eco-system Across the Enterprise; CRM, OMS, AR/AP, GL, Print Production and Digital Ad Ops

PORTSMOUTH, NH — THURSDAY FEBRUARY 25th, 2021 — Indigo Trigger is proud to announce the successful deployment of the Naviga Ad platform at Farm Journal, the nation’s leading business information and media company serving the agricultural market. The project — which started in the Spring of 2020 — tapped Naviga and Indigo Trigger resources to migrate Farm Journal off a host of legacy platforms to a new end-state eco-system driving sales, sales operations, production and finance operations.

“The Lead-to-Cash project at Farm Journal is one of the most ambitious projects we’ve ever worked on”, said Christopher Prinos, Chief Executive Officer at Indigo Trigger. “In just seven months we implemented a company-wide CRM, integrated Order Management, Naviga’s Accounts Receivable and Billing platform, Accounts Payable, print production and ad tracking, and digital ad ops workflow — including real-time integration with Google Ad Manager.” Prinos continued, “Farm Journal also made the decision to replace an aging Great Plains general ledger platform with the Naviga GL which included integration to a Planful reporting platform and Naviga-provided Informer reporting solution. To round out the project, we implemented the Naviga job costing module to enable campaign-level profitability analysis across the company. I think we implemented everything in the Naviga Ad catalog except for classified.”

As part of the project, the Indigo Trigger team worked with Farm Journal to evaluate a number of lead to cash platforms in the Fall of 2020. The team unanimously chose the Naviga platform as it provided an open, modern and elegant solution tailored for today’s media and advertising operations.

"Farm Journal found the Indigo Trigger team to be highly qualified, good listeners, engaged, good problem solvers and talented communicators across our entire organization”, said Jeff Pence, Chief Operating Officer at Farm Journal”. Pence continued “Our Naviga implementation was enormously complex – and the Indigo team met every requirement we could ask for in a professional advisor."

As part of on-going development and support, the Indigo Trigger team is working with Farm Journal and Naviga to complete the installation of the Naviga Exhibitions module, which is slated to go live May of 2021.
